Rosemary fried eggBreakfast ? It is a sacred meal, the fuel of the day. During the Renaissance, herbs grew to replace foreign spices, becoming a symbol of "fresh flavor." Rosemary Fried Eggs embody the morning meal by combining runny yolk, sugar, rosemary, butter and bitter orange to deliver a harmonious masterpiece to the palate.

Étapes |
Steps1) Carefully wash the strands of rosemary and then dry them.
2) Heat the butter in the “frying” pan and then crack the eggs one by one in the pan. 3) Put two strands of rosemary on the white portions of each egg. 4) When the white begins to grill on the edges, with the help of a spatula, fold each egg, forming a “purse,” remaining cautious not to break the yellow in the middle. 5) Serve on a plate, squeeze some orange and lemon juice and sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
C'est simple, « casser les œufs » « crack the eggs » « mettre deux brins dans chaque œuf » « put two strands in each egg. |
One aspect that I want to improve is the cooking of egg whites. I bolded this step in the American recipe because “broiling” is what fry the eggs (hence the title). Also, I only cooked two eggs so I had to fix the mathematical proportions written on the original recipe. One word that leads to difficulty in translating is "bourse." It seems the closest English understanding is some sort of bag that forms when the cook folds the egg.
This dish certainly contains various elements that the chef must experience in order to reach perfection Both sugar and orange / lemon are "sprinkled/sprayed" based on empirical judgment, an act that I will improve. Also, I broke the yolk on the plate before I started to eat, so I have to fix this error in the future. In general, the translation was smooth as the steps detail the actions of a cook rather than specific steps and subtleties. It's simple, "casser les oeufs" "crack the eggs" "mettre deux brins dans chaque œuf " "put two strands in each egg. In general, the meal is not difficult to prepare, but it is difficult to perfect it. I enjoyed the variety of flavors that blend with the yolk, something I love deeply. I hope to continue the elegant performances of eggs, my favorite breakfast. |
